The children couldn’t be stopped for at least the better part of two hours from measuring the ingredients in different quantities, trying to see what color would start to froth from the volcano’s mouth next. I actually managed to teach them all the basics of metric measurement that day without losing their attention completely, though the “wet-less” shape-shifting foam did pose as an imposing piece of competition in my efforts.
