Weber Grills were meant to last a long time, and because of this, you may be faced with replacing some parts that are worn, just like you do with your car. It’s easy to locate the right Weber grill replacement parts right on the Weber website at Amazon.com. The site walks you through selection of the type of grill you have and helps you get access to the parts that you need.
For example, say that you have a classic charcoal “Kettle” type grill. Just click on the pane that says charcoal grills, and you’ll be taken to a site where you narrow down to the model you have. For example, if your grill has an enclosed ash collector, you click on that choice. Then you’re presented with a selection of grates, charcoal rails, lid handles, and cooking grills for your particular size grill.
Besides the Amazon.com site itself, there are numerous online stores selling parts for Weber grills, including some discontinued parts. Grill parts you can find online easily include burners, venturis, cooking grids, rock grates, valves, and warming racks.
Fixing your own grill can be a reasonable task for a DIY enthusiast. If you have a gas grill, the first step is to disconnect the gas supply and make sure the fuel tank is in the “off” position. There are two fairly common problems with gas grills that can be repaired. They are uneven heating and refusal to light.
Uneven heating is usually because one of the burners is blocked, which can happen when too much fat drips off the grill into the holes in the burner. A wire brush, judiciously applied, can remedy this. As for grills that won’t light, often the problem is that the igniter is clogged. If you don’t get a spark when you press the ignition button, the igniter is either clogged or needs rewiring.

i have a weber charcoal grill that lost a leg when the sleeve that attaches the leg to the kettle fell off. with that fell the lit grill, and dinner. thankfully it didnt start the fence or anything else aflame but i do wonder where i can find a replacement for that part. the grill itself is less than a year old so i am surprised… this is my 3rd weber and the first time ive had a problem. would appreciate any ideas and a couple replacement t-bones.
thanks!
