Maclaren is a British stroller manufacturer that makes high-end strollers in the $200 to $400 range. Maclaren’s claim to fame is the ease of folding its strollers. The Maclaren Quest Sport is very much like another Maclaren model, the Maclaren Triumph. The Quest Sport is $50 more, which buys you the following extras: reflective trim for safety, peek-a-boo window in the canopy, an adjustable leg rest, and two more reclining positions. So you’ll have to decide for yourself if this is a reasonable trade-off. Other features of the Maclaren Quest include a removable, washable seat, water resistant hood with window, aluminum frame, shopping basket and lockable front swivel wheels.

Earlier models of the Maclaren Quest Sport had a braking mechanism that parents found frustrating. To engage the brakes, the back wheels had to be aligned just so, and this often involved bending down and turning the wheels by hand until they were in the proper position. But Maclaren listened to the feedback about this feature and newer models have individual brakes that are much easier to engage. Another minor complaint among parents is that when the seat is fully reclined, the basket is inaccessible, but most do not consider this a deal breaker.
