My daughter is one of those little girls who just plain loves doll houses, and this one is no exception. She got it as a birthday gift and couldn’t wait until she could play with it. Thankfully, It took me less than ten minutes to assemble it. The Fisher-Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse it is sturdy and beautiful. Her grandparents purchased the family room and bathroom furnishings to go along with it. After two weeks, she plays with it almost two hours every day and still isn’t bored. For a three year old, this is quite a feat! I bought this doll house from Amazon because they offered the best price. When it arrived, I realized that the family that came with it is African American. So, we purchased a second set of dolls that resembled her own family. We are grateful for this oversight on our part because now my daughter, who sees no difference, has even more dolls to play with.

2. Fisher-Price Loving Family Dollhouse
After researching many dollhouses in the internet, I decided on purchasing this one as my daughter’s first dollhouse. Although I really liked some other houses that were made of wood, they were too expensive. I thought this was a better buy to see if she would get into playing with dollhouses seriously.
Keep in mind that there is a bit of assembly when you receive the box – The house is together, but you have to put all of the exterior trim on and the staircase.
My main disappointment with the house is that I thought it should have come with more furniture to start. It only came with the basic family (mom, dad & twin babies), a kitchen table set with 2 chairs & 2 booster seats. Thank goodness I wound up buying the extra furniture sets (bathroom, parents’ bedroom, nursery & mini van). For the price, i think they should have at least included the kitchen appliances.
Also, I found that one of the folding doors in the back does not readily latch and keeps popping open when transporting the house. And the staircase gets in the way – it blocks 1/2 of the first floor! (I just leave this loose so it can be taken out easily)
Finally, why didn’t Fisher-Price put in a doorbell that makes sound?! That is one of the most requested items on the house from my daughter. She would love to have a doorbell!
Overall, this is a very durable, quality product from Fisher-Price and I think it is an excellent 1st doll house for this price range.

3. Fisher Price Loving Family Twin Time Doll House Special Bonus
This is a wonderful dollhouse ““ definitely worth every penny paid and tons of fun for your young daughter or granddaughter. She will have loads of fun playing with it and you will have even more fun buying furniture the dollhouse even though it does come with some furniture.
My daughter loves this dollhouse!!! It also comes with a bonus backyard set that is not available anywhere else.

4. Loving Family Sweet Sounds Dollhouse
I ordered this dollhouse as a Christmas gift for my three year old. I bought this particular dollhouse because I wanted a one that is larger than the Fisher-Price classic dollhouse. We purchased the classic house three years ago for our older daughter and found that the rooms are almost too small for the furniture.
The Loving Family Sweet Sounds Dollhouse is definitely larger. It is also easier to open and close. My older daughter had trouble with the other one because you had to fold up the stairs and the second floor before closing it. I believe that was a little too complicated for a small child. This one folds shut very easily. The stickers were very easy to apply and I like the additional bonus stickers for decorating. The dolls are cute with real rather than painted on hair. Since I am waiting until Christmas to put the batteries in, I have not yet tested the dollhouse’s speaking aspect.
So far, my only disappointment is that some of the furniture permanently affixed in the middle of some of the rooms. I guess this is necessary for the sound feature, but I think it may limit options for arranging additional furniture and playing with the dolls. All in all, I believe that this is a much nicer model than the classic dollhouse and is well worth the money.
