Custom Lego Star Wars

One of the best things about Legos is the ability to make custom models of ships that aren’t included in any set. You can find designs for them on the Internet or design your own with the blocks or with a 3D computer program which allows you to easily figure out which pieces you need.

 

 

 

But what if you just want something a little more extravagant? Well in the Lego Star Wars line the two biggest limited edition custom Lego sets have to be the Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falconâ„¢ and the Ultimate Classic Star Wars Death Starâ„¢.

 

The Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falconâ„¢ is billed as the largest Lego set ever made, with over 5000 pieces!  It’s almost three feet long and two feet wide.  Numerous made-to-scale minifigure cockpits dot the top of the ship, which can also open its top to accept still more minifigures. It only comes with five figures in the set, but they are the most prestigious of the Star Wars minifigures.  You Get Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa. The only problem might be its price which is about five hundred dollars, and that it’s only available directly from Lego’s website.

 

Just a bit smaller but no less ingenious is the classic Star Wars Death Starâ„¢.  This four hundred dollar monster set comes with 24 minifigures, six of which are exclusive to the set. It has a movable trash compactor and the all-new Dianogaâ„¢ trash compactor monster.  It has exactly 3803 pieces and is also only available through Lego’s website. It’s about 16 inches tall and 16 and one half inches wide.

 

Lego is all about making your own custom versions of things.  You may spend hours having a “battle” but the real joy of Legos comes from combining the sets and coming up with something new: your own custom design built entirely to your own specifications by you, the master builder and general.
