Release of the Clone Wars allowed a whole new Lego lineup. Now we get to add Anakin’s Jedi Star Fighter. If you know anything about Star Wars you know that fidelity is the key. That’s why the wings on this bird are movable just like in the real ship you see in the movies.
You get two minifigures with this Lego set: a classic R2-D2 and the brand new Anakin minifigure. The Anakin figure comes with precision sculpted hair that you’ve just got to see.
So say you have your big ship zooming out there in space and suddenly you need to eject R2-D2, and no, it doesn’t matter why you need to. For whatever reason or for no reason at all you can push the eject button and out will pop the R2-D2 minifigure nice and safe. Oh and while you’re out there in space you can defend yourself with the LEGO flick fire missile mounted on the ship.
If you happen land and find the old space oasis filled with a bunch of space jerks the Anikin Star Wars minifigure comes with a light saber so you can get on with your important business.
And in the end isn’t that the goal of Star Wars? To develop a sound space economy so all the minifigures can have their own presicion hair and custom space ship? Don’t all minifigures deserve at least that? Of course they do, but don’t forget that you deserve all the minifigures.
The Lego Star Wars Anikin’s Fighter has 153 pieces all together and is a whopping 10 inches long. It is light and dark grey in color with yellow accents. There is room for both minifigures in the ship, so go out and get one today or tomorrow or two weeks from now. It’s all good.
