Cranium Hullabaloo is a game that is basically designed for kids aging four or up. But, many people believe that this game is good for the whole family, i.e. kids and parents alike. In order to test these claims, our staff decided to test it.
This game consists of an electronic game console and 16 play pads. Due to easy instructions, it is not really hard to learn the ropes. The game starts by spreading all play pads on the floor. Next, you need to put three AA batters in the game console. If you have Philips screwdriver, it won’t be really hard for you to install these batteries. The good thing about this console is that talking is slow enough to understand all instructions, but it is not so slow as to make it boring.
We would like to mention that we were only interested in playing this game for few minutes to know its response, but we kept playing it for more than two hours. It is something really strange, especially for adults to play a kid’s game for this long. That’s what says it all. And, we also found that this game is good for staying active. It means it is a good exercise for kids while they play. The whole game is controlled by the console and with each instruction players have to move across the room to find the right play pad. Another impressive thing about this game is the availability of some nice music. You can hear it when a new round starts or ends. Though we later realized that it is hard to forget the song, we really had a great time playing this game.
In terms of durability, this game is not bad at all. In fact, we liked the plastic quality and nonslip play pads. It means it is safe to play this game and you don’t have to worry about kids getting slipped during their play. That was the most important thing we were looking to inspect, as falling incidents would create a lot of trouble. Although we witnessed some falling incidents, they were mainly due to people jumping on a sample play pad. But, that was fun!
Another noticeable thing was the availability of bigger buttons on the console. It is due to the size of these buttons that even a little kid can play this game with ease. All these are amazing features, but another amazing feature is the fact that game can create endless combination of directions. It means this game is a great option for those kids who have short attention span. All in all, we can say that this game has passed our test with flying colours.
