For #2 – there was a somewhat similar inflatable giant thing at the Midosuji Festival in Osaka, but it was more humanoid.
For #7 – the decoy weapon systems are made to fool spy satellites – many other countries make them.

lets be fair though, the colon one is teaching aid the the military ones are designed to make a force look stronger from aerial reconnaissance.
The inflatable military mock-ups (#7) are to fool satellite and spy plane surveillance. There’s nothing really odd about them. The Allies were the first to use them. We used them and other fake military hardware to convince German intelligence that the 1944 invasion of Europe would happen at Calais, instead of Normandy. As we all know, the Germans fell for it. This time around, the Russians will be using them to confuse the very people who originated the idea. That’s history for you.
