5 Cool Halloween Costumes

image

Halloween is certainly the preferred time of the year for many people. With the license to be openly freaky and dress up pretty much as we want, it gives an opportunity to let out the pent up stress gathered throughout the year. Yet, Halloween can also be stressful too. Ever went to a Halloween party and saw your costume on the next door guy? Originality is the key to a successful Halloween. Of course, some cool Halloween costumes are evergreen, guaranteed to rock the party whatever the year. But the most successful and coolest costumes get the most “ooohs!” and “aaahs!” Point is, be careful in your choice of your Halloween costume if you want to be the hit of the party this year!

1. Uniform Costumes

Some costumes are never out of fashion. They may be somewhat unoriginal but it is certainly the best way to look attractive. Girls simply adore people in uniform. Policemen, firemen, army officials are usually hit with women. Correspondingly, women can wear nurses’ uniforms, school uniforms (especially with teasingly small miniskirts), and, of course, cheerleaders. These are certain to attract the eyes of hot blooded males on the dance floor… Famous movie characters (James Bond, Austin Powers, or the Captain Jack Sparrow) is also guaranteed to stir eyebrows. My personal favorite is The Joker as portrayed by Heath Ledger. While these costumes are cool, I think that everybody will have the same ideas. Halloween means to be DIFFERENT, if you see what I mean.

2. Political Figures of 2009

Bin Laden was hit in 2002; Saddam Hussein in 2007 and this year, why not dress up as the infamous Ahmedinejad (President of Iran) or even Kim Jong Il (this one would scare even the ghosts!). You can be even popular by cracking a “YES WE CAN!!” as Barack Obama. Vladimir Putin is certainly a good one, with army pants and a Kalashnikov in hands, ready to send some Chechens to genocide!

4. Pop Figures

Certainly the best Pop figure to be this year is Michael Jackson. Whether in the scary thriller costume or as the King of Pop, this costume will certainly be a hit this year. You can Moonwalk on the dance floor! Girls would swoon, that’s for sure!

Really Cool Costumes..

These are my preferred Halloween Costumes. Usually made by individuals from scrap that can be found in any garage or attic, these costumes are the most original and guaranteed to draw a laugh from you. Some really nutty ideas can be found on the Net. Here are a few examples:
