  1. AnotherGuy says:

Not gonna lie, those are pretty disgusting. Why in the world would anyone ever do something like that?

  2. entrepreneur says:

LOL! Who on earth would wear these shoes! I applaud the creators for their creativity though!

  3. TutsKing says:

#1 is absolutely Ouch! Most are the others a unrealistic but still quite funny.

  4. TutsKing says:

2nd Times a charm? I hope I made sense on this one! ;)

  5. kathy says:

    ouch!!!

  6. Lynn says:

Wow I don’t think I could wear any of those shoes, even if it were for 5 minutes. They don’t look very comfortable at all. I’m sure some people can wear them but they make my feet hurt from just looking at them.

  7. Silvia Lart says:

THE PICTURES ARE INCREDIBLE AND WONDERFUL

  8. vivian says:

    OMG! So imaginative.
The first one, what’s wrong with her feet?

  9. Di says:

The first one’s a result of a Chinese technique called foot-binding. All the other shoes, I’m sure, were not created for mass retail. Don’t worry about having to figure out how to fit these into your wardrobes.

  10. Some pretty ridiculous shoes there lol

  11. t says:

i’m sorry but you need to get #1 right. that photo is of chinese foot binding. the shoes do not mold the feet, it is the feet that are molded to fit those shoes and it takes years and years of pain in order to get the foot into that shape.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foot_binding

  12. Hello.. says:

the first pair of shoes aren’t “shoes that mould your feet.” the shoes do nothing to your feet, millions of women in China were forced by society to smash their feet every day with hammers to break all of the bones and then tie them in bandages so they would form like that. if you haven’t heard of that you must be pretty ignorant.

  13. Helen Lee says:

N-in my life have I heard or seen such a thing,It was very surprising.

  14. Miffy says:

What most people see as horrible shoes, I see as most likely creations for an art or design degree. Never intended for real wear. Just to get a pass for creativeness.

And the first pair of shoes don’t “mould your feet”. The breaking of the toes and years of foot bondage your mother inflicts upon you does that! The idea was “lotus feet” of three inches long. It inspired marriage and the lotus footed girl would never have to really walk anywhere, having servants to do everything, so it was a sign of high status. It’s now illegal.

  15. Anonymous says:

They need Pokemon yellow in that game boy….

  16. "Hello.." Passive Agressive much? says:

You are not ignorant, you are just stupid. The way you found a subtle way to insult someone else is impressive.

  17. tungk says:

Actually “Hello” you’re pretty ignorant. Why would everyone on the face of this Earth know about foot-binding? I’m sure everyone around you in your life is amazed at how you know everything in the world. Maybe you should run a country and do some good instead of telling people they are ignorant.

  18. Batgirl says:

I need those pokemon shoes!!! Where did you find that pic? I would so buy them!

  19. David says:

Well Said Miffy!! Some of these work pretty well as bizarre concept art – but actual normal wearable shoes . . . i dont think that is the intention!!

  20. Nizati says:

um… arn’t those “donated feet shoe” like the Hobbit feet used in Lord Of The Rings…? It’s probably for some move.. if not, LOTR itself.

  21. D says:

This is just art…dont excpect to see peopel wearing these types of shoes.

  22. Arash says:

in my opinion all photos very beutiful & excelent.

  23. nom says:

wow…..the first shoe is really creepy…..o.o

  24. roo2010 says:

actually, the lego shoes are real shoes. i own a pair. and their not that bad. just like walking around in regular stilettos

  25. Guest says:

You wouldnr want to get kicked by those 15s.lol

  26. Each more bizarre than the other.

  27. Ary! says:

Foot binding- is what ANCIENT chinese women did waay back then in ancient china. It was supposedly – the smaller your feet is- the higher the value of your beauty.Another reason for foot binding is to make it harder for the girls to walk or in some cases, away run away just in case they are not happy with family they are maried into. If I’m not mistaken. foot binding is only for those who are from prestigious family.

  28. tabby says:

Absolutely, Miffy and David, most of them will be for art degrees and shows, apart from number one, which is sadly all too real but now illegal, thank god. I must say though that l don’t particularly think the last one should be THAT uncomfortable…it’s just a normal stiletto, and the spikes are on the outside!!! Don’t fancy a kick from them though… *ouch*! And I also like the Lego ones – but again, just normal shoes. Some awesome creativity here, love it!

  29. libby says:

those aren’t lego shoes, they are designer shoes by balenciaga from the 2007 runway line, and they cost almost 6,000$ dollars.

  30. Betty says:

Well, the crocodile converse look pretty cool to me. The rest is just disturbing.

  31. Zara says:

The “donated feet shoe” is absolutely dispicable! Cant they wax the toes before donating the foot?

  32. Summer says:

Yea, the “Lego” shoes are real. I’ve seen them sold in a Baker’s nearby and they even have a matching purse for it. And they don’t even look like Legos, anyway…

  33. Kelley says:

Really…. You people are just going to freak out about the chinese shoes? Is no one else but me SEVERELY disturbed about the human feet shoe?!??

  34. Jacky says:

The cork sandal can’t be too bad ?

  35. Rohan says:

The “Lego Shoes” are actually some shoes by Balenciaga. They are Tranny-chic and probably no more uncomfortable than any other stilleto. I think they are made from Climbing equipment, actually.

But the “Moulding” shoes are preeety epic.

  36. emily says:

I would totally wear #4, 7, 10,15. I wish I could afford something like those

  37. William says:

The “Donated Feet” (#8) is actually a pair made for the Lord of the Rings movies. I have a friend that has a pair almost exactly the same and she is good friends with the man who designed them.

  38. Dewey says:

The bondage shoes are pretty cute.

  39. Guanidene says:

1st one is disturbing……12th one is the most funiest…idiotic kind of stuff…

  40. beebyx says:

    wow thats really weird…

  41. paijo says:

    realy Good,thank’s for share,

  42. those are just,,,,,distubring

    but call me weird
i liked the lego shoes xD haha

  43. maridena says:

I don’t think anyone in their right mind would wear these. Disgusting.

  44. dadadada says:

gameboy shoes arent painful. theyre simply a type of japanese platform shoes circa 1998-2003. ganguro girls wear them

  45. robb says:

whoever gets kick in the groin by spikey heels would never see another day.

  46. this is not In the Real life Pic ………..

  47. Gotta get a pair of those crocodile shoes…

  48. Anonymous says:

Not gonna lie…I would wear Number 15 LOL

  49. VickyDiva says:

I couldn’t believe the first photo. It looks so painful :(
    Is it from China?

  50. Irene Suwarno says:

OMG! For the #1 shoes how long will it take to mold the feet in a creepy shape like that?! Oucchh!!

  51. bo says:

id hate to have a fight with the chick wearing #15 shoe, ouch!

  52. Okay says:

number 1 & 2 are bounded feet, foot binding caused that.

  53. tamy says:

shoe #1 leves a mark, thats 4 shure, ps, I hate to be a man who got a chic angry wearing shoe 15, mmm hmm!

  54. kaylia says:

    a) most of these are either concepts, strict designs for photography, costumes, custom made by the wearer or art pieces
    b) the names the articles has given them are wrong; i.e: the “LEGO shoes’ are actually from a very prominant design house, Balenciaga.
    c) as far as I can see, under the title “15 most painful shoes ever created”, only the first one fits since it is the only one that has been featured in history

    fail

  55. Lauren says:

I don’t think most of these shoes really count as painful – unusual, maybe. The Lego shoes are from Balenciaga’s ss08 collection.

  56. Stephanie says:

I am very much wanting #7.

  57. clinton says:

lauren, your telling me the shoes in the first pic wouldn’t hurt? F that.

  58. brandon says:

#1 is the product of a thing called footbinding. Back in the day, (in China) VERY small feet were thought to be attractive. So women had their feet folded and bound (often broken) at a young age so the feet would keep from growing.

  59. Anonymous says:

The Cardboard shoes is so chic.

  60. Leslie says:

The Cardboard Shoes is so chic. Love it!

  61. naomi says:

    i feel sick…

  62. fran says:

im guessing that the basis for most of the pain is that the shoes make your feet stand almost entirely vertical

  63. padzy says:

actually, with #1, they dont mould your feet.. in china, women were forced into breaking/binding of their feet because little feet are beautiful to the chinese.

  64. Anonymous says:

It’s not the shoe that makes the lotus feet. Those womens feet were broken and bandaged that way when they were young. The shoes are just made to fit their deformed feet after.

  65. Anonymous says:

the “feet” shoes aren’t shoes… those are prop feet for the hobbits from Lord Of the Rings

  66. paula says:

i think the Pikachu Platforms would be well funky and dont look painful i want it!

  67. Jessica says:

Oh yes, because broken, cracked, and deformed little feet are soooo sexy. Thats why I like Japan better….

  68. Lisa says:

    i love number 8. i’d totally wear those :D <3

  69. Queen says:

    I like number 6 …
    good imange

  70. Missabees says:

Ballet boots should be on here :p

  71. Gin says:

crocodile converse are just awesome xD

  72. CaptainKinky says:

No 4 very sexy. A girl wearing no 15 would ruin my airbed.

  73. josh says:

#1 is actually called lotus feet.. it is a tradition in china back from those days..

  74. amrin says:

    pinful shoes

  75. Dimpy says:

OMG I seriously love that Lego Shoe its so cool <3

and I will feel sorry for a guy that gets kicked in the…*cough* with #15!!! my gawd! xD

  76. Vally says:

Im sorry but from my (men) point of view all of this shoes luks simply stupid and/or disguisting, if Id ever see someone with such shoes in real life id laugh to dead. Id never show up anywhere with a girl with such garbage on her legs.

  77. Xposed Expo says:

OMG! what a pain!! Donated Feet Shoe made me say UGH!! I guess these would be the nicest way of giving corporal punishment instead of HANG TILL DEATH!!
