This was an interesting article, but you said nothing about the original creators or writers of Batman and whether any of the early writers were themselves in the closet and used Batman as an outlet for their gay creativity. I have never read anything to support this, and I doubt that hetro writers were unknowingly inserting gay subtext into their comics. Batman certainly showed animosity towards women and hung around a young boy most of the time, but as a divorced man with a 15 year old son does that make me gay too?

It’s stupid that people are looking to find if fictional characters are gay. DOES IT REALLY MATTER if they are or not? They don’t exist, they aren’t real! What does it matter!?

It’s pretty clear, statistically that SOME of the super friends must be gay. That said… contrary to popular belief, gay men don’t usually run around in body suits. AND, if they did, they would have the fashion sense not to wear their underwear on the outside. That would lead me to believe that none of the superheroes are actually gay, but rather they are a collective association of escapees from the mental asylum who have no problem taking the law into their own hands. What ever happened to due process?
