I’m pretty sure that “strange looking Star Wars cake that has LEGO pieces stuck onto it” is supposed to be a death star.
Eating Lego bricks is not as funny as it seems, because they are made of plastic. There are only few insects that can digest this kind of toxic.

If you take that to a cake decorator most will be able to re-create it for the most part. The hard part would be to make the minifigs out of sugar, but other than that, it’s all just frosting.
