Let’s Pretend Community Police Officer

Costumes aren’t just for Halloween. In fact, daycares and nurseries will tell you that a box full of costumes can provide hours of fun for a group of children. This costume is one of my personal favorites because it’s not the typical beat officer. As a community services officer, children get to be problem solvers for thier play groups. Of course, it still comes with all of the normal police accoutrements: flashlight, shoulder radio, key ring with whistle, vest and badge.

Police Cycle Sounds Rocker

This has to be one of the most detailed and interactive police sets out there. Even I had fun playing with it! Containing almost 1000 individual pieces, there’s no telling where your imagination will take you! There are prison cells (complete with toilets and beds!), interrogation rooms, a coffee beak room (with refrigeratior!), spotlights on the roof for prison breaks, and even handcuffs for the minifigs that are included in the set. And for those of you who like to play the “bad guy” you’ll see that Lego included prvisions for your escape… trick walls!

Patrol Police Car

We purchased this Little Tikes squad car when my first son was a year old, and it’s still a favorite. The steering wheel has a horn that beeps, and there’s a car radio that activates the siren when pressed. As a parentI loved the height of this Little Tikes toy. Before my son could move the vehicle himself I spent hours racing him around the house. Thanks to the height I didn’t have any back pain!
