Nice post, but the difference Engine was actually proposed in 1822 by Charles Babbage. It was Eniac and Collosus (both of which used ideas from the Difference engine and more importantly the later analytical engine) which were developed during WWII.

Interestingly, a German researcher (Konrad Zuse) was working on a machine potentially more powerful than the allied versions, but his funding was cut off.

I guess my comment was deleted, but just in case something went wrong I’ll try again and say that I like the clever name of the title, rather than just saying Ten Lego Uses. Nicely done. Hope this comment stays up.

DUPLO is actually made by LEGO, you know like a lego product making it also considerd “LEGO”, in fact they are made to work with each other, the crazy desighn on the bottom of the basic LEGO blocks fits on the DUPLO blocks

Отличная тема, продолжайте. Иногда нахожу ответы, которые получить самой просто реально не хватает времени. Благодарю!
